Our strength has always been in looking after one another and always will be.

For generations, Jewish communities have looked after one another.

Being Jewish today brings with it challenges many of us never expected, and our community feels more vulnerable than ever before.

It's in these difficult moments that we naturally look to one another for support and reassurance. We find strength in the knowledge we are not facing uncertainty alone.

Behind every community event, school day, prayer service, celebration and every ordinary day, our trusted community organisations and leaders are working to support Jewish life in Victoria. Each brings their own unique strength to the table. But what many people don't see is how closely they are working together.

The Jewish Community Crisis Management Alliance (JCCM Alliance) strengthens those connections by building the capability our community needs to prepare, respond and recover as one.

By connecting community leadership, security, welfare, advocacy, mental health, emergency relief, government relations, fundraising and rabbinical support, the JCCM Alliance helps ensure our community is supported before, during and after times of uncertainty.

From training scenarios and risk plans that cover everything from natural disasters and accidents to the unimaginable, Alliance members know their roles and responsibilities.

Together, the JCCM Alliance gives our community confidence, knowing the organisations we rely on are connected, coordinated and ready when they're needed most.

Our strength has always been in looking after one another. And it always will be.
